We transfer data from
vessel to shore

In today’s data-driven world, access to information in real-time — as well as saved historical performances — is imperative. Transferring the data from a vessel to shore is made more complicated due to the vast number of sensors available and the limited amount of bandwidth accessible in most marine environments. With this in mind, Seacoast has developed the IoT platform “InCntrl”. In addition, we have partnered with ScanReach Onboard Wireless Connectivity to bring their new wireless IoT mesh node network to North America.

InCntrl

With a combined 100 years of experience in marine electronics and software development, a comprehensive product was created that works independently. It can be connected to any marine interface standard found on board a vessel.

  • Works independent from any Marine Navigation or Automation manufacturer
  • Any equipment with a common interface output o/b a vessel can be interconnected and monitored.
  • Data is stored on board and on an onshore server
  • Communication between ship and shore is encrypted and transmitted based on the highest security protocols (ISO xxx, ISO xxx).
  • Data transmission is optimized for high latency networks such as VSAT
  • Data is owned by the customer and available through an API and common database inquiries for in-depth data analyzation.
  • Tailor made dashboards.

Scanreach

The Scanreach platform enables full onboard connectivity to personnel monitoring, equipment assets, cargo and environmental IoT sensors with no cabling. It features a Personnel On-Board (POB) system and connected monitoring sensors that provide real-time locating and emergency reporting for crews. Seacoast will provide sales and marketing services for customer vessels, offshore infrastructure and wind turbine installations.

  • Enables personnel and asset control in complex and confined steel environments
  • The wireless platform removes the need for expensive cabling
  • Easy and effective installation in hours even while vessels are in operation
  • Remote updates and dedicated support services ensure a long lifetime, future proof functionality and carefree ownership
  • Wearables: Personal distress alarm and position tracking during emergency, training and operation.
